Ingredient Safety

At BioRepublic SkinCare we strive to be completely transparent about the ingredients we use in our products.

So unlike most big cosmetic companies, we thought we would provide you with independent safety ratings for all of our ingredients by compiling SkinDeep information and making it available to you right here on our own site.

What's SkinDeep you ask?  It's one of the only independent online sources for cosmetic ingredient safety.  The SkinDeep database compiles safety information from over 60 different regulatory and safety sources and is run by the Environmental Working Group, a non-profit consumer safety organization that is not funded by the cosmetic industry.

SkinDeep ratings are broken down into three groups:

     - Green (0-2 points): low health concern

     - Orange (3-6 points): some health concern

     - Red (7-10 points): high health concern
